Protecting the future grid

K9 Protection are well versed with looking after sections of the power grid when they're at their most vulnerable; be it through new construction, or upgrade work being carried out.

Loss Prevention

Clearwell Solar Farm - Security with K9 ProtectionBy providing a proactive deterrent, and a fast reaction force, we are proud that of the time of writing (September 2014), we have a zero loss record for the last two years. Our team, specifically our dog handlers and team leaders have many collective years of experience in the protection of energy installations, specifically copper wire and photovoltaic cells. Regardless of the size of your installation, we can provide a cost-effective security solution, which can often work out more cost effective when compared to the alternative option of regularly displacing components and risking additional damage.

In addition to experienced manpower and the "right" dogs for the role who have worked on a variety of power distribition projects ranging from HS2, to small independent wind providers, we also have a large amount of technology available to be deployed, ranging from quad bikes to wireless motion sensors, and 4x4 K9 units.

Public Order

As well as providing security for the day to day loss prevention needs of your power installation, K9 Protection have a team of crowd management professionals who can provide a secure defence against any protest on your site, working alongside the local Police to ensure everyone goes home safely, with no adverse stories appearing in the evening news.

At K9 Protection, we realise there is a difference between a protest and malicious activisim, and as such we treat both situations differently - our aim is to ensure there is no loss, be it time or property to yourselves, and that every peaceful person goes home safely at the end of their presence.
